Therapy is an opportunity to evaluate how you are living your life and make the choice to live your life in a way that you find less stressful, more fulfilling and enjoyable.
I work with patients to address concerns in their lives, including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Relationship issues, sexuality, and intimacy
- Separation and divorce
- Academic and professional pressures
- Grief and loss
- Child and adolescent behavior
- ADHD and learning disabilities
- Adjustment to parenthood and parenting challenges
- Infertility and pregnancy loss
- Postpartum depression
- Coping with medical illness
With more than 25 years in private practice, I have extensive experience with patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, university students, and adults. My approach combines psychological insight and practical solution-based skill learning in a supportive and professional environment. In our work, my patients and I seek to identify sources of distress in their lives, and to understand the psychological and life events that have contributed to those stressors. We move forward together by identifying areas of change, both internal factors and how the patient moves through their daily life.
