Child/Adolescent Psychotherapy and Parent Counseling

Parents bring their children to my practice to address their own concerns, or on the advice of the child’s physician, teacher, or school counselor. I work with both the child or adolescent and the parents so that change can occur globally in the life of the family.

All families face challenges in raising children, including:

  • Behavior at home and school
  • Stress of separation and divorce
  • Sibling relationships
  • Grief and loss
  • Mealtime, sleep, and potty-training
  • Learning disabilities and ADHD

I help parents to better understand their child’s behavior while focusing on positive discipline techniques that work. Together, we can address these challenges while helping your child to develop positive self-esteem and feel happier and more secure.
